Wearable technology continues to be a top fitness trend. For the past six years, it has appeared in the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)’s annual list of fitness trends to look out for. Wearable technology ranked second in 2021 and previously was number one in four out of the past five years.

Now, MyZone and Life Fitness have teamed up to seamlessly integrate MyZone heart rate devices with premium Life Fitness consoles.
Health club cardio integration
MyZone is now available on premium Life Fitness cardio consoles. MyZone uses a heart rate strap connected to wireless cloud technology to monitor physical activity. This enables users to monitor heart rate, calories and time exercising, all easily accessible through the Myzone app.
MyZone features a gamified system, converting its data into Myzone Effort Points (MEPs), with a focus on rewarding effort and creating a motivational experience for users.
With the integration with Life Fitness cardio, connected Discover SE3, SE3HD and ST consoles can now be used to view MyZone workout stats in real-time. Users simply navigate to the Bluetooth Devices menu and scan for the Myzone heart rate device in all Myzone enabled facilities.
Fitness facilities and health clubs can benefit by using Myzone to enhance member engagement, to assist in group training environments and as a selling point to new members.
Life Fitness has been at the forefront of connected fitness devices. Life Fitness’ premium fitness equipment already offers digital connectivity across a range of devices, including Samsung Galaxy and Apple Watch, so that exercisers can log their workouts, track their progress and stay in control of their health and fitness. The MyZone partnership continues this integration.
